HOW TO CHOOSE HOLT-MELT ADHESIVES

G.M"series hot melt adhesives , all series are developed and manufactured according to needs of different industries.For the different avidities of the holt melt adhesives with adherence,to make the hot melt adhesives better show their viscosities, the following considerations :

1.Colors:Requirement s for colors of hot-melt adhesives shoud be different from different colors of adherends. Yellow hot melt is commendatory to be used if no special requirement for colors of adherends. Generally speaking, the viscosity of yellow hot melt adhensives is better than white ones
  
2.Surface treatment of adherence. Hot-melt adhesives have not such requirements to surface treatment as other adhesion agents.In order for the hot melt adhesives to show bonding property , the dust, oil on the surface should be treated properly.

3.Operating time.quick fast operations is one of prominent characterstics of hot melt adhesives. The time is about 15 seconds. Widely equiped with modern production method-assembly line, the requirement for operation time will get shorter and shorter, for example,operation time of book binding and speaker making is about 5 seconds.

4.Temperature Resistance. Hot melt adhesives are sensitive to temperature.Once the temperature rises to a certain height, the hot melt adhesives begin to soften. The hot melt become crisp when the temperature is lower than a certain degree, So environmentali temperature of products should be taken into account when choosing hot-melt adhesives.

5.Viscosity. The viscosity of hot melt adhesives consist of initial viscosity and later viscosity.Only on condition that the initial viscosity and later viscosity are the same, hot melt adhesives and the adherend can keep stable. During the course of production of hot melt adhesives , their oxidization resistance ,halogen resistance ,acid&alkali resistance and plasticity reinforcemetn must be guaranteed. The viscosity of hot melt adhesives is different for the difference of the adherends . different hot melt should be choosen according to different materials.
